Father's Day.

In lieu of Father's Day, I wanted to share a cookbook that I have been obsessed with lately.
My Father's Daughter by Gwyneth Paltrow is a stunning book full of wonderful healthy recipes to cook for Dad and stories of her growing up connecting memories with food.
The pancakes are her father's signature recipe so I would suggest you start with that one first. :)

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs (preferably organic)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly, plus 1/2 tsp per batch to grease pan
  • 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
  • About 1/2 cup whole milk
  • Maple syrup

I have been watching Anna & Kristina's Grocery Bag and low and behold they cooked out of Gwyneth's book. It was very entertaining and they gave it a buy...of course! If you have a chance check out their  Website

ENJOY! Bon Appetit!
