This boy's birthday was this month, which means he received quite a few gifts. I don't know about you but my kids have a ton have toys EVERYWHERE. I hate keeping up with all of them and I try to make it easy for the kids to put them up but they have so many. I go through them every once in awhile and sell them to my local kids resale shop or donate them.
He had a superhero party, what else for a 3 year old boy?
We have baskets in their rooms and in the living room full of toys. I had to go to my local Target and buy another one of these wonderful baskets.
Seriously these save my life. My kids climb and roll all over it and it's still in great shape.
Another life saver for me is another basket strategically placed by the backdoor.
It's near a bench in our kitchen area and it makes it so much easier to find the kids shoes. Even if they make their way to the living room when we do stumble over them we can just throw them in the basket. They are out of they way but easily found. Love this.
Our entry closet is full but every inch is being used. We used to have a lot of trouble fitting all our coats and jackets in this space until I thought about putting an adjustable shower bar on the bottom for the kids coats. Seriously how do we get so many coats and jackets? This has been a game changer too. Now we can fit all their coats and jackets in the closet instead of storing them in their closets. We can all get our coats on together.
Umbrellas are down below as is a tote bag full of outside toys like sidewalk chalk and bubbles. I also found an over the door hook system. I can't say it's all that great but as always, our home is a work in progress. Well, I hope this gave you some tips and maybe even a different way to look at a space. Let me know your tips and tricks for storage and Spring cleaning.
